ABOUT THE STORE

Our Liverpool art store is located in Liverpool One, and very close to The Bluecoat on School Lane. Liverpool is home to several major art galleries, including Tate Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery and the independent artist-led space The Royal Standard.

With an eclectic and creative history in both art and music, Liverpool has coined the "World Capital City of Pop" after it was the birthplace of The Beatles. The city also hosts the largest international contemporary art festival in the UK: the Liverpool Biennial.

“Victoria’s work explores experimenting with traditional and innovative forms of printmaking. From the multi-disciplinary ethos she brings to her practise, she produces 3D and 2D pieces that represent a collective body of work which takes inspiration from her graphical Nigerian heritage, surroundings, and new technologies.

Victoria produces works with simple elements and bold colour combined with gestural mark-making, to form abstract shapes with modern undertones that illustrate her personal use of handmade textures.”

LIVERPOOL ART SPACE

The Liverpool Art Space is located at the rear of our branch on School Lane. It measures just over 8 metres in total and supports a diverse programme of shows from staff exhibitions to supporting local artists. It also supports a variety of workshops to support the incredibly strong creative Liverpudlian community.
