Product Overview
Our Cass Art Gesso Spray is a water-based primer suitable for a wide range of surfaces including canvas, wood, paper, and board. It contains 90% less solvents and provides "tooth" for good adhesion when using oil and acrylic-based paint, or mixed media applications.
Three coats are recommended for oil paintings. Allow two hours between coats. After use, turn the spray can upside down and empty the spray nozzle, clean any equipment with water. Allow 24 hours to fully dry.

SPRAYING TIPS
Spray thin cross-layers at a distance of approximately 20cm from the surface.
Press the spray head in firmly and start and end the application by spraying beside the surface, if possible, lay the surface down to spray.
If the surface is standing up, spray in horizontal movements - beginning at the top and moving down the painting. Use at room temperature, and avoid working in humid environments to prevent moisture from being captured.
Test before use, if possible.
