Williamsburg Oil Paint 37ml Native Italian Earth Set of 10

Williamsburg Oil Paint Native Earth Set uses imported Italian earth colours with the same pigments made famous by the Italian Renaissance and used by conservators. Clean, vibrant, and more translucent than other earths, they can completely change your attitude towards what an earth colour can be. Unlike synthetic iron oxides, no two natural earths are ever alike, and these rare Italian colours are prized among painters as among the finest available in the world.

Originating from the Williamsburg neighbourhood of Brooklyn, and now manufactured by Golden Artist Colors, Williamsburg makes over one hundred seventy artist-quality oil colours. Pigments are ground in pure, premium, alkali-refined linseed oil and made in batches no larger than eight gallons at a time. This gives Williamsburg total control over the product, much like the late nineteenth-century French colour makers.
