The Blackwing 710 is Blackwing's tribute to Jerry Garcia, a legendary American musician known for his fusion of visual and musical expression. A slice of his painting “Curves & Lines” is printed on each pencil, which features Blackwing's soft graphite that is ideal for drawing (as well as songwriting!)

He was also a multifaceted artist, using his home at 710 Ashbury Street in San Francisco as a hub for creativity and self-expression in the 1960s. His artwork, much like his guitar playing, showcases his ability to improvise and think outside of conventional boundaries.
