Draw Brighton is an independent art school in Brighton, UK.They believe that good quality drawing education should be accessible to everybody and usually run drop-in, short-term and long-term courses from our Brighton studio. During the pandemic they have moved their life drawing classes online and are providing drawing resources via their Patreon page, where you can support from £3 per month. Our long running ETC programme is intended to complement their practical workshops with artists’ talks and panel discussions on the themes of drawing, the arts and the body.
About Wuon-Gean Ho
Wuon-Gean Ho works in print, artist’s books and film, and has exhibited widely in juried, invited and solo shows for the past 25 years. She trained in water-based woodblock printmaking in Japan in 2000, and gained a distinction for her masters in Printmaking from the Royal College of Art in 2016. In 2009 and 2011 she coordinated the 2nd and 3rd International Printmaking Festival in Qijiang, Chongqing, China, and has been back to China as a visiting Famous Foreign Professor to Changsha Normal University in 2015 and 2017. From 2016–18 she was a print fellow at the RA schools in Piccadilly, London. She is a former director of East London Printmakers CIC. Currently she is a research associate and editor of the IMPACT printmaking journal at the Centre for Fine Print Research, University of the West of England.
