PAINT POURING WITH FW INKS

Daler Rowney's FW Acrylic Artist Ink is an opaque acrylic-based pigmented ink that is water-resistant on most surfaces. Also, with their smooth flow and excellent lightfastness, these inks are ideal for illustration, calligraphy, and mixed-media projects. As well as using them in their raw state, you can dilute them to create subtle washes to which you can then add further layers and are ideal to use in a multitude of ways!

We’ve collaborated with our friends Daler-Rowney and artist Jessica Mallorie to bring you into the magical world of paint pouring! Watch FW Acrylic Inks in action and see the spectacular affects you can achieve, from flipping cups to pulling strings we’ve got the paint pouring techniques to get your started!

DIRTY POURING

Dirty pouring is a technique where all colours are added to your cup at the same time, then poured together to create a fantastic effect.

FLIP CUP POURING

Pour all of the paint colours that you’re using for your painting into one cup, flip the cup onto your canvas, lift the cup, and go!

STRING PULL POURING

Slowly apply the acrylic mix in circles around the canvas and watch the spectacular patterns come to life.

SPIRAL POURING

Dip string into your Acrylic Ink and pull it across the surface of your canvas to see spectacular effects.
