Derwent Artists Pencils are the first colour pencil this prestigious British company ever developed, back in the 1930s, and were previously known as the No. 19 range.
Its easy to see why they've stood the test of time.
Their traditional round barrel and wide core make them perfect when you want to create broad strokes and free, expressive drawing.
They have a slightly waxy texture which blends beautifully and layers well.
They are also the perfect complement to Derwent's Studio pencil range, which have exactly the same waxy texture, in the same 120-colour range, but with a slimmer, hexagonal barrel for more precise drawing.
