EXHIBITION: INNER CONTRAST

EXHIBITION: INNER CONTRAST

9th Feb 2024

Mona's black-and-white abstract paintings capture the intense emotions of feeling trapped and longing for freedom. Using bold contrasts and shapes, they show the struggle between being held back and the desire to express oneself fully. The paintings have a spiritual meaning, reflecting the inner conflict people face when they feel disconnected from their true selves or controlled by outside forces. They invite viewers to think about the emotions and the universal desire to break free and the deep need to regain control and find inner peace.

Mona is a passionate artist with a deep interest in both fashion and art. She expresses herself through abstract art, using the medium of paint and Rapidograph to channel her rebellious spirit and explore her creativity without limitations. Mona’s artistic journey began at the age of 8, and since then, she has had the privilege of showcasing her work in various solo and group exhibitions. Her pieces often carry spiritual themes that connect to the
universe, encouraging others to think beyond conventional boundaries and embrace a broader perspective. outsidein.org.uk/galleries/imonart
