Cornwall blocks contain a heavy weight 450gsm, bright white watercolour paper. The very stable block is glued on four sides, ensuring the paper remains flat when wet. Cornwall offers good colour flow and high colour intensity. This quality is ideal for wet painting techniques: watercolour – especially smooth washes and dry painting – and also lavis, gouache, tempera and acrylic.
