MATTHEW PALMER
Matthew Palmer is a very long-standing member of the SAA community and a sought-after teaching artist. Matthew regularly features in Paint & Create, as a workshop host and on Video on Demand.
Matthew is famous for his ability to get even the most beginner artist to paint a scene they're proud of, and for having curated an extensive library of watercolour brushes providing you with all the tools necessary for any mark-making endeavour!

ALI BOARD
With an extensive and varied career in fine arts, Alison has an experimental style, encompassing multiple subjects, using a range of mediums. Having owned a contemporary gallery and arts centre in Dorset for 15 years, she is heavily influenced by her countryside location. With a focus on watercolours and a love of textiles, sculpture and printmaking and a degree in Fine Art.
JO ALLSOP
Jo Allsopp, a seasoned art tutor, has been sharing her passion for art for over two decades. Initially working for Leicestershire County Council, she seized the opportunity to establish her own art classes when a gallery space became available. Her business has flourished, with regular students attending her weekly drawing and painting classes and weekend workshops. Additionally, her painting breaks in the UK and France have been highly popular.
HAZEL SOAN
Hazel Soan is a British artist working out of studios and is on location throughout the world. She paints in watercolour and oil and is known particularly for her direct wet-into-wet watercolour approach and her use of rich pigment and strong contrasts of light and shade. Shape, interval and tone are her predominant subject matter. Figures, African wildlife and action are the main sources of reference.
Her passion for painting is shared through books, DVD films, workshops, lectures and painting holidays, demonstrating the vibrant immediacy of the watercolour medium and the properties of watercolour pigments. She is the author of more than 15 books and contributes articles regularly to The Artist magazine and other art titles.
