The container also features two folding palette surfaces in the lid that you can use as a palette, and space for an additional 9 half pans of your choice.
These watercolours are an artist quality range which do not want compromise on quality. The colours are able to produced from one pigment only, producing the very cleanest of mixes, colour clarity and brilliance. The colours feature a Kodorfan Gum Arabic binder from the Southern Sahara and is unique to this range from Schmincke.
The Horadam Aquarell Watercolours are tested to comply with the highest quality standards when it comes to stability, fineness, re-solublility, permanence and lightfastness; everything you'd expect from one of the world's leading brands in colour making.
This set includes a half-pan sized thickened oxgall: a natural wetting agent for water-colours and gouache colours. Oxgall decreases the surface tension of the colours diluted with water. This would make the perfect set for a watercolourist with the highest standards.
